SQUIRE LANE THEATRICAL AND BABY CROW PRODUCTIONS ARE A GROUP OF COLLABORATING THEATRE ARTISTS TAKING TWO NEW WORKS TO EDINBURGH FRINGE FESTIVAL 2017.
“13 & NOT PREGNANT” AND “WHORE: A KID’S PLAY”
Both plays focus in on the lives of “misfits” trying to create a world in which they can express themselves and gain acceptance. In a world where the pressures to be both normal and exceptional and nothing is quite so momentous as friendship and first loves, nor utterly monstrous as ourselves, we believe that these stories are so powerful that they need to be brought to the world.
Producing a single show for Edinburgh Fringe Festival is expensive, but this pairing of two highly relevant and socially critical pieces carries extraordinary costs (about $40,000) that our artist pockets just can’t handle alone.
We’re reaching out for your support to make this passion project a reality.
